production method
To the mixture of 1, 2-dibromoethane, ethanol and water heated to boiling, drop an aqueous solution of anhydrous sodium sulfite, continue to reflux for 2h after adding, and then evaporate ethanol and unreacted 1, 2-dibromoethane. Ethanol is added to the above distillation residue to extract sodium 2-bromoethanesulfonate from sodium bromide and unreacted sodium sulfite. During extraction, the mixture is boiled, and the extract is cooled to crystallize 2-bromoethanesulfonate. Sodium, the yield is 78-90%.
